winter treat containers

Getting closer to Christmas! Here are two treat containers I made using the Element Stickers from Fancy Pants' Hot Chocolate collection:

I used the large, scalloped stickers as a wrap around my treat containers. I also cut the end off one sticker, making it look like a tag. Place the sticker tags onto paper, then cut around them if you want to use them as a 3-D tag on a project. I cut around the large tree on the tree sticker to use it on the top of one treat container. Here's a look at the element stickers from Fancy Pants...

Hope you're enjoying Christmas-time! This last week we had Alexander's church Christmas musical, his school Winter musical and his school class Holiday party- here are the cupcakes I made for his class party and a really grainy photo of him singing in his school musical (after it was over the kids and I looked at great Christmas lights for almost an hour! so fun!).

New Cricut Cartridges!

Hi everyone! Yesterday Provocraft revealed 9 new cartridges coming out! They are all so very cute! As part of the Cricut Circle design team, I was happy to get to work with one of the new carts coming out- April showers! Here are my designs using this cartridge. Now, normally, I am not allowed to share what is made for the very fun blog that is exclusive to the Cricut Circle members, but I do get to share a few snips of my projects and we do get to share things made with new cart releases! If you're not a member of the Cricut Circle you can join here!

Here are the projects with the new April Showers cart:

I made this little matching card game.. I made 24 cards, 12 matching cards and put it in this Maya Road tin. I used October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker line for this.

Here are some small peeks of the projects I've recently made for the Cricut Circle blog:

The Superfriends!

Wow! It's been too long since I blogged!

Yesterday afternoon we went to a Birthday Party for our playgroup friend, Bryce! Laura planned this fantastic Superhero party for him and we had so much fun! The kids got to decorate their own masks, capes and arm bands! Here's a peek at the fun...

Just thought I'd put these back!

First up, some bracelets I made that were published in Simply Handmade October / November 2010.

I was so excited when this idea came to me. I have made several more of these bracelets. I sell them on my etsy site and would love for you to check them out - I will even take special orders.

Here are a few cards using October Afternoon's Very Merry line...

Those were seen in Create: 2010 Christmas Cards Idea Book:

The next two layouts were seen in Scrapbook Trends November 2010:

Another card using the October Afternoon Very Merry line this time as seen in the Nov-December issue of Paper Crafts magazine.

Here are a few cards as seen in Cards - November 2010.

A little bit of rock and roll!

I need to go to a 12 step program for Cricut! Seriously, I am becoming way too dependent on my Cricut Expression and other Cricut products to help me create, but it's such fun!
So, I teamed up my Expression with my October Afternoon for a little bit or rock and roll...

This card was made with the Campfire line from October Afternoon and the Cricut Expression birthday bash cartridge...

Rock on card.

Next, I used the Cricut Expression birthday bash cart again to make this fun roller skate card shape! The papers and chipboard for this card are from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker line...

Let the Good times roll card.

Also, be sure to check out the OA blog... there's info. there on a October Afternoon giveaway!

Have a great day, Charity

The Grands- punky sprout album

I just love this fun line from American Crafts called City Park! It's so happy and fun! I wanted to make a mini album for my mother in law's Birthday with photos of the kids. So, I grabbed my Punky Sprouts Junk in my Punk album and the City Park line and put together this simple album for her!

Here's how it came out:
