Summer

Well, today was interesting. This evening while driving to Chik-fil-a to have a goodbye meal for my friend AnnaMaria with our playgroup, people were pulled over on the side of the road ... then, I saw it too... a huge .. well, at the time I thought it was a tornado but turns out it was a giant funnel cloud over the river in our city. It was a chilling sight. I was nowhere near it but just to see such a giant funnel in the distance. wow. Anyways!

This page is made using the June kit at create my keepsake and today's Friday Formula sketch. The picture is of my friend Anna Maria's girl Ava. Anna Maria and her family are moving tomorrow about five hours away and we will miss them so.

Ode to Cosmo Cricket.

Last project for Melissa Frances guest design!

I had so much fun creating projects as the Melissa Frances guest designer!

So, here are the last two projects made with their yummy products!

First, I made this paper mache egg around Easter time by covering a balloon with pieces of Melissa Frances paper, letting it dry. Then, pop the balloon and cut a hole in the egg's front. Decorate your little egg and display!

Flowered Frame.
I cut out those wee little blue flowers from Melissa Frances' patterned paper. I love the resin looking flowers she makes and I painted the flower centers with blue watercolor! the frame was on clearance at Target after Valentines Day. tfl!
