Weird title. Basically, it means that I am sharing some older projects I have made for the Cricut Circle blog! We were given the green light to share some older projects! Check out the link to the Cricut Circle for all the information, benefits, etc. of being a Cricut Circle member!

Like I said, many of these projects are not in season, but hopefully you can still get an idea of fun ways to use your Cricut Expression and other ProvoCraft products and maybe an idea of the amazing things the Cricut Circle can offer to you!

The banner was made with American Crafts patterned papers, chipboard, buttons, brads.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Such a fun day! I had the kid's breakfast table decorated for Valentine's day- little goodies for them. Alexander had so many fun Valentine's from school to open when he got home. Brian got me a sweet card and Peterbrooke's chocolate- yum!
We all went out to eat at a Japanese place tonight. Alexander got a little scared of the flames at first when the cooking started, but soon the Japanese chef had him laughing!

Pictures of the kids today and sharing the lyrics to and old Steve Camp song- Love that will not let me go:

In this weary world chasing after dreams just led me back where I started
I couldn't see my way, or find a hiding place for the broken-hearted

You spoke softly to my soul, with one touch I was made whole

Chorus:
(Now I know that) there is a love that will not let me go
I can face tomorrow because You hold me forever
Stronger than the mighty winds that blow, I'm safe within Your arms
Love that will not let me go

Lord You always knew the road that I would take
But then You saved me just in time
And what I owe to You I could not repay so I pledge You my whole life
Never trusted love before, but I won't be afraid anymore

Alexander's Valentines

I've noticed over the past year that I've really turned this hobby into something I can use to help my kids.. or maybe it's really just another excuse for me to use to create! Either way, it keeps my mind going and my hands busy.

This week I've been working on Alexander's Valentines Day cards for his classmates at school. He helped a tiny bit with tying the candy on!

I used my Cricut Expression and the new Dinosoar Tracks cartridge to create the card- it's 3 and 1/4 inch, card, Trex. Then, I used my computer to print up the little greeting inside. I hand cut the little red hearts and adhered them to the inside of the card. When the card is closed it looks like the Dinosoar is holding the heart. I used jute twine to tie on the lollipops and added wiggly eyes for fun! Alexander likes them and I hope his class enjoys them too!

Here's a look at the Dinosoaur Tracks cart.

Thanks for looking, Charity

It's the little things!

New from Fancy Pants Designs- a darling line called It's the Little Things! Here's a look at what I've made so far using this one:

I used my cricut expression on this card and the all wrapped up cartridge.

Little Things Gift Box
The box was covered with patterned paper. I cut the scallops from the strips sheet from this line. The flower was made by stacking the filter paper embellishments and holding them together with a brad in the center. I used watercolors to paint three of the filter papers. The dotted, flocked transparency is so pretty. I cut petals from the flocked transparency and glued them into my flower. Leaves were cut from patterned paper and the tag was added as a final touch.

I also used some things from the New Artists Edition released from Fancy Pants as well!

Be sure to check out the Fancy Pants blog for more ideas using this line! Also, I will be doing a giveaway soon on my blog- some goodies from the new Fancy Pants release! yay!
