Top Shelf Memories May guest designer

It's the last day of April already! I was asked to be a guest designer for Top Shelf Memories kit club for the month of May! They have two main kits and a mini kit to choose from. The kit I worked with was the boyish main kit and the mini kit as well. Be sure to check them out and their gallery for more inspiration. Here are my creations.

Tea Party

Last week at this time I was at the local Tea Party Rally downtown. My dad went with me. It was really great- you could tell the people there are just normal people- moms, dads, grandma's, even children were there. We sang the national anthem, pledged to the flag and prayed for our country. We cheered for our armed forces personnel. It was entirely friendly and upbeat. Here are a few photos. It is such a blessing to live in a country where we can peacefully express our views.

Forgot the Fair?!

This one's going to be photo heavy! I'll be back sharing some scrappy stuff later this week! I forgot to share a few of the photos I took last Friday at the Clay County Agricultural Fair! It has seriously become one of my all time favorite things to do each year! This year: Audrey rode a pony, clown show, frog jumping contest, pig races, lots of rides, petting animals and checking out the historic old florida area (women making yarn, honey, a real blacksmith working on horseshoes, etc.). We stayed for at least 8 hours and all had a blast!).

Spring Cards and the everglades

say what?
First, I wanted to post again some cards that have recently been published.

The May/June issue of Paper Crafts magazine is out and it is really gorgeous! I was fortunate to have one card picked up!

Here's my card:

Next up, some cards as seen in Craftsnthings magazine.

Spring has sprung as seen in Cards magazine..

Our spring break trip started and grandma's house then we went down to the Everglades... very fun! We took a 2 hour tour there... and saw a snake, tons of alligators, birds, etc. It was educational and interesting for us and hopefully the kids too... they liked finding the alligators as we went along.

Happy Sunday!

Hi!
CPS 162 is up at the card positioning system blog and I really love this one!

I used new Bella Blvd Estate Sale line. I used a heart punch to create the petals for my flowers on this card. Simple technique, but I like how they turned out...

Last week we had a wonderful family vacation over Alexander's spring break

We got to spend some time with cousins.
We also spent time with Brian's mom. It was so fun to see a sunset at the beach with her.
Easter Sunday we spent the morning at a sunrise service. It was really pretty. We left Granmama an Pop's house after that and headed for... the everglades... I'll share those pictures another day!
