Well, I've been working really hard on projects that I can finally share. I was so excited a month or so ago when I won second runner up in the Reminisce design team call- I received some yummy product from them and here's one of the things I've made using them!:
Covered these paper mache' boxes with Reminisce candy cane swirl, candy cane float, Santa's helper, candy cane chain pp. Creative Cafe felt ribbon, White trim from Joanne's fabric. Garden Ridge striped ribbon. I sewed the little balls and Felt ribbon into the bow up top! Thanks ever so for looking!

Common Scrapbook Product used in Unusual Ways

So, I'm throwing my hat in for the Create My Keepsake design team. One of the entries has to be a card using common product used in a unique way : I took a piece of Cosmo Cricket chipboard backing and used my rotary trimmer to cut a small piece. I covered that square backing with patterned paper, cutting out the empty center, painted the edges with MM paint. Then, I covered the flower chipboard that fit inside, adding a pull-tie with ribbon. I created an "inside" for the chipboard piece with a greeting. Adhered the chipboard over the "greeting" with foam tape so that the flower piece would have room to fit inside. So, you just pull open the flower to see the greeting! tfl!

1. I have lived in Florida most of my life. YET I have NEVER been water skiing. I have snow skiid several times but never water! ok?
2. Don't like really spicy food. Just don't see the point of it,lol.
3. I know almost all the lines from Princess Bride.
4.People used to tell me i looked like Debbie Gibson when I was younger.
5. I can sing row, row, row your boat backwards.
6. I don't like raw tomatoes.
7. Every time I yawn my eyes water and it makes it look like I'm crying!

Thinking of you!

Just wanted to let my brother,Josh, and his family know I'm thinking of them this Christmas. They are missionaries in Zambia. Here's a picture of the kids having a little Christmas party while my parents visited last month. They had to make their own little tree and opened some presents we sent over with my parents. Love you guys!

Part of celebrating Grandma's 60th birthday was going to High Tea! All the girls went, even the little ones! So fun!

Girls Nite and My Birthday celebration!

So, the girls got together last nite to have fun and also to celebrate my birthday! Laura, Angie and AnnaMaria were so sweet. I got a huge load of yummy chocolates (choc. covered strawberries, pretzels, popcorn, some turtles!). YUMMM! Angie made fudge too. Laura remembered I didn't have a small, nice pair of scissors for crafting so she got me a super pair! I also got some great bath and body works stuff and a gift certificate to Starbucks! wow~ I was so overwhelmed by their sweet gifts. Thanks again for your gifts and friendships gals!

So, I finally came up with a way to use up those Heidi Swapp chipboard frames I had- Make a wall hanging! I used SEI's Smarty line of paper and some MM chipboard as well. tfl!

Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar Memory Purse set

My birthday was yesterday. Pappy came over and babysat. Brian and I went to our favorite restaurant (where we had our first date)--- Biscotti's. We shared crabmeat artichoke fondue as an appetizer and a fabulous steak, blue cheese-bacon mashed potatoes, asparagus with a huckleberry bernaise sauce! whew! it was delish!

then, to top it off... white chocolate macademia nut cheescake that was so fluffy and fabulous!

Away in a Manger

So, Yesterday we decided to play some Christmas music. Somehow, we also ended up making our own manger scene. Here it is. Alexander was so funny. He didn't want me to run the vacuum in the living room because he thought it would wake Baby Jesus. We ended up moving the manger into another room so I could vacuum the living room!
