happy Birthday dear Anna!

Anna Brooke, my little niece, is turning 3!!! Happy Birthday sweet girl! This is a picture of her with the cake my sil, Amy made for her birthday! My brother, Josh, and his family are missionaries in Zambia. If you'd like to read more about them click the Light in Luwingu link on my sidebar.

flower making how to

i had someone ask how i made the flowers on my cps card for the week (below). so, here's a quick how to for you.
Cut patterned paper into a swirl ...
Push the center back down into the swirl, making sure the side of the paper showing is the patterned side.
Hold on to the center with two fingers then begin to twist the paper around the center to form the flower.
When you're near the end just tuck the end thru a layer of the flower to the back and adhere.
