It's the little things mini album!

This is the first class I taught this past Friday night at The Scrapbook Shoppe in Georgia. I used the "It's the Little Things" line from Fancy Pants designs on this mini album that's also from Fancy Pants.

Here's a look at what the mini album I made and taught:

Princess Crop!

Woohoo! What a fun time we had at The Scrapbook Shoppe in Columbus, Georgia this weekend! Here's a link to their Facebook Page.

Thanks again to Cheryl, the owner, who invited me to teach!
The theme was Princess, and, everyone dressed up today in different "princess" costumes. We ate, scrapped, had classes, and the ladies even went on a limo ride to eat icecream! These gals know how to crop and have a good time! Here are some photos!

The first photo is of me and Gretchen- it was great meeting her- she's super sweet and talented!

Hope you've had a great weekend!, Charity

Hodge Podge

Starting this post with a fun summery card using Fancy Pants Designs Beach Bum line:

Speaking of Fancy Pants, have you seen their brand new line? It's called Baby Mine and it's really cute!

I have been so busy making things that I'm not allowed to share on my blog, but I finally broke down and did a page for fun last night... here it is... made with almost all My Minds Eye products!

How about a few spooky treat containers made using my Cricut Expression, Echo Park stickers, some American Crafts chipboard and the wrap it up cart from Cricut:

Cricut Circle Crop!

Today was so fun! It was the Cricut Cricle Crop in Orlando!! If you don't know what the circle is, be sure and check out THIS LINK.

I have lots of photos from the crop! Design team member, Shantaie, was our host for this crop! She did an awesome job organizing, planning, decorating, etc! She made all the decorations for the room and the wonderful candy table too~

BUT FIRST!
I promised to share the cuts and instructions for my make-n-take at the cricut circle crop...

Spring fence box with chick make n take.

supplies needed for each make n take:

White cardstock.
Yellow cardstock.
Orange cardstock.
Patterned paper (pink or light blue if possible) for wings.
Patterned paper for eggshells
Twine
Two brads for each chick made.
Green patterned paper (for grass cut)
Pop dots or foam adhesive for a 3d effect
Extra green patterned paper to cut into strips and use as "grass" inside the basket or perhaps some pre-made, bought easter grass.
want- Yellow flocking for the chicks.

Instructions:
Cut the fence box using Wrap it up cartridge at 10" from white cardstock.
Cut the outer grass that goes around the box using Wrap it up cartridge at 10" using green dotted patterned paper.
Next, I used this cut to create a platform of sorts for the inside of my box by setting it in the box, upside down. It also helped make the top of the fence box more stable. Cut one more grass using the Wrap it up cartridge at 9 and 3/4" from green dotted patterned paper.
Cut egshells (2 of them) using 3 birds on parade cartridge at 3" (remember to cut two shells for each make n take, it looks cut if they're also two different colors of patterned paper).
Use the Birthday Bash cartridge to cut (which is the bird shaped card) at 3 and 3/4" from orange cardstock.
Cut using the Birthday Bash cartridge at 3 and 3/4" from yellow cardstock.
Cut using the Birthday Bash cartridge at 10" from pink or light blue patterned paper for wings.

Use orange cardstock that you cut the bird card from so that you can cut a beak (cut a diamond shape and fold in half, attach only the bottom to the card for a 3d effect).

Now for some photos! It was so fun to meet all the circle members there, see your creations, learn new things! Hope everyone had a great time!
