Happy Thanksgiving Weekend~

Hoping you all are enjoying Giving thanks, eating, shopping, being with family, Christmas decorating and whatever else you do on this Holiday! We went to visit with family and had a lot of fun! BJ and Liz
hosted us at their lovely home and Liz seriously rocked the bird.
It was a gorgeous 24 lb. all natural, free range, organic turkey and it was delish!!! The cousins spent the day playing around the house, at a park down the street and also played wii for a bit!
Thank you, Lord. You have blessed us so much! Here are some pics of us celebrating Thanksgiving!

PreK Thanksgiving feast!

So Alexander's PreK class had their little thanksgiving feast yesterday! It was just for their class so I didn't get to see the feast, but here are some pics of Alexander in his Indian costume they made a few weeks ago and head-dress! They also had made the cutest little placemat! All the kids in his class were given Indian names. Alexander's was running dear, thus the deer on his shirt!


Of course, I had to take a picture of Audrey while I was at it! and I must say her eyes look so bright and pretty in this one!

emotional day indeed

I won't lie. I've been a bit of a mess today. With knowing that our time is up for now with my brother and his family. It's silly in some sense, because I know many families go years without seeing each other. It just went by to quickly this visit. Before I knew it we were at the end. I was a ball of emotions and tears this morning at church. Can't explain it, it was just raw, emotional, sad and I was completely at its mercy, couldn't hold it back. So, my sweet brother and fam will be boarding a plane heading back to Zambia tomorrow morning. They are a true blessing and will be missed till 1&1/2years from now they'll be home for a longer stay! Whew! Tomorrow I will breathe, pray and be thankful for the time we had. Thank You God for the blessing of family.

squeezing it all in!

wow. It's crazy how quickly the time has gone with my brother and his family visiting. They leave in less than a week and the time has gone much too quickly. Today we managed to squeeze in a few more moments of playing, laughing and making memories. Nothing big- just went to the park to play, ate lunch at Memes house and played more there! Here are a few pics of our day!

fresh from the beach!

we had a lot of fun with the family this weekend! We stayed at a beach house RIGHT on St. Augustine beach with Meme, Pappy, dad, mom, Alexander, Audrey, Uncle Josh, Aunt Amy, Caleb, Abby, Anna, baby Luke, Mr and Mrs. Schaeffer! Such a great time playing, talking, playing games, flying kits, swimming, shopping, exploring the sites....

so, this weekend is full of plans with the family... but I couldn't pass up the chance to share a small look at another layout I finished this morning using the November Label Tulip kit and add-on number 2!! What's so fabulous about this kit is how many different looks I'm getting! I have made a girly page and now, a more masculine one!!! so fun! Ok, here ya go...
