Keri, stamper extraordinare, card making sensation, and fellow cps blog dt member... came by Laura's house (fellow cps blog dt member and friend) yesterday on her way somewhere else! She and her children were a delight and the few hours spent together went too fast! I'ts amazing how this hobby has allowed me to meet such spectacular people! We ate Laura's yummy macncheese, talked, played with the kids, talked more! I think we may have to talk her into moving to our area! Oh, the picture was taken by a 5 year old I believe! Have a happy day!

trying to mend

so, 3 out of 4. that's how many of us have had a cold at my house this weekend. It's normally Saturday that I can pick up a few hours at work, but not this weekend. What can you do?
We have so much to be thankful for and I think we're on the mend... hopefully ... so, I shouldn't complain, right~

I am so not feeling good today. I've got the runny nose, achy all over, chills, sore throat yuck! So, if you're looking for me I'm probably trying to rest while taking care of the kids! fun stuff! hope everyone has a good weekend! Hope this cold blows by quickly!

Chasing Rainbows Set

made for create my keepsakes dt contest. ok. so, I got my inspriation from gap baby tshirt that said chasing rainbows. I have had this wall shelf a while- bought from a craft store. I also bought this framed chalkboard from target dollar section a while back. this was difficult to photograph but i think you get the idea of what it looks like. it seems like i just cannot get a decent photo of alexander and audrey together! i tried today and nothing. dad tried yesterday to no avail. so, here are some pictures of them in the pool today... one of each kiddo. nothing spectacular, just us hanging out. oh, and, in spite of Brian and my black thumbs... our Oleander bush is blooming! pretty!

well, Brian and I have had a nice weekend. Our 6 year wedding anniversary is next weekend, but my mom had this weekend off from work. She and my dad are watching the kids for us! So, we've been to St. Augustine for a relaxing day, have eaten out TWICE by ourselves and I slept in till 8:30am today!!! woohoo! We miss the kids at the same time... one of those funny things about being a parent... you need time away but still miss your kids when you do get a break!

so, this morning we went out... went and saw the free zoo (ie... pet store animals)ha! then, went in a few other stores then home. BUT Audrey wanted to wear her chef hat. Alexander had to bring his rocket toy, cars and transformers along...and they sang along with our Christian dance music... yep. singing "Glory, Glory..." sweetness~
no nap for Alexander... this is happening too often. Once Audrey got up it was off to a shaded, but still hot park for some playtime~ dinner, baths, bed for the kids...
now off to try and finish two cards I'm working on~

happy June1st and my cps card for the week!

Back from church... it's graduation Sunday... all 67 Seniors at our church wore their caps and gowns today! so fun... I remember doing that... um, 16 years ago and giving my testimony in front of the church.... man, I"m old!

Anyways... hopefully the kids will nap and I can finish a layout I'm doing for Just Let Me Scrapbook! The plan is to get the kids out in the plastic pool in the back yard later! It's supposed to get in the low 90s today! We watched the space shuttle zooming into the sky yesterday from our backyard! Way cool!
