happy Birthday dear Anna!

Anna Brooke, my little niece, is turning 3!!! Happy Birthday sweet girl! This is a picture of her with the cake my sil, Amy made for her birthday! My brother, Josh, and his family are missionaries in Zambia. If you'd like to read more about them click the Light in Luwingu link on my sidebar.

flower making how to

i had someone ask how i made the flowers on my cps card for the week (below). so, here's a quick how to for you.
Cut patterned paper into a swirl ...
Push the center back down into the swirl, making sure the side of the paper showing is the patterned side.
Hold on to the center with two fingers then begin to twist the paper around the center to form the flower.
When you're near the end just tuck the end thru a layer of the flower to the back and adhere.

old stomping grounds

before I met Brian I lived on a cute side of town. My mom, Alexander, Audrey and I drove over today and shopped! I bought this cute children's picnic table for our kitchen. The kids LOVE sitting at a table in the kitchen for breakfast and lunch! They play on their little educational "computers" till food is ready. The old table was tiny and wobbly... here they are at the new colorful one! makes me happy to see a picnic table in the kitchen!

i really like these photos of Brian and the kids. Brian's such a good dad and I know I won't forget the care and love he gives them. Hopefully they won't forget either.

Audrey's baby dedication.

Here's the picture from Sunday Night. We dedicated Audrey at our church. ... Well, it's actually a dedication of us as parents to raise her to know and love Christ Jesus. Audrey's name is English and means "noble strength". The verse Dr. Brunson shared for her is Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer"
