Just couldnt hold this one in any longer. I love these flashcard books from October Afternoon- this is the farm fresh one. I used some of the new lines- farm fresh and the report card lines as well as some older stuff. The 8*8 paper pads were the exact length of the flashcards so it made life a bit easier. Happy New Year and tfl! Be sure to find even more inspiration at the October Afternoon blog!

Savoring the time.
I'm really enjoying the time with the kids right now while Alexander's out for Christmas break! We've been mostly at home playing with all sorts of toys, games, etc. It's been a great time.
I've been working on some projects that I can show you soon... hint... watch the October Afternoon blog for some guest work from me in January!
Right now I have two things using Piggy Tales 5 little ducks collection.
On day one.
supplies:
Coredinations cardstock.
Piggy Tales 5 little ducks cardstock shape stickers, chipboard shapes, play patterned paper. scotch/3M adhesives.
instructions:
Print a 4*6 photo onto 81/2*11 photo paper. Cut a large section of the photo paper, draw lines for journing to the right of the photo.
Apply letter stickers for page title.
Add chipboard elements for interest.
for you tag.
supplies:
Bazzill cardstock.
Piggy Tales 5 little ducks cardstock shape stickers, chipboard shapes.
instructions:
layer chipboard shapes for flower.
use up odd numbers or letters- I used two zero stickers for the petals by cutting them and leaving the centers of the stickers.

home for Christmas yarn wreath
I had this idea for a yarn wreath and looked online at some! So much inspiration!~
Just covered a styrofoam wreath with red yarn. I added lots of new yummies from October Afternoon's Christmas line called Very Merry! I used glitter, stickles, a few chipboard houses I had, hot glue gun and here is the finished project!
Hope you're having a Merry Christmas! tfl.

Sing for Joy!
It's that time of year that we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! My little boy has been a busy bee this week... Tuesday night was church choir rehearsal for the Preschool Christmas choir program Wednesday night... here are some photos of Alexander in his outfit looking like a shepherd (dont worry I covered the emblem on the robe) and then one with my zoom lens of him up in the choir at church.
Last night was Christmas around the world at his school. Every class sang and his class sang two songs! We got to check out some Christmas lights on the way home! Fun!
Hope you're having a Merry Christmas!

Award Winning Style- October 2009
Yay! I just got my October issue of Scrapbook Trends magazine and had to share my award winning style page! fun!
Oh, and here's my kitchen as it is so far... I was cooking dinner when I took this... still trying to get the floors done then hopefully some decorative touches to finish!
So, thus far... I've painted the cabinets white, replaced the cabinet hinges, placed pulls and knobs on them. Painted the walls green. Replaced the baby blue laminate contertops with new laminate contertops. WHEW! ha!
