Halloween night!

Well, I'm heading to bed in a minute but had to stop and post some pics of the kids tonight! Alexander had a big fun day at school with a friendly costume parade, special lunch and class party. Audrey got to go to the grand opening of a new toy store down the street! Then, tonight, it was off to a local church's fall festival! SOOOOO much fun! Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, games, more candy, blow up slides and jumpy things for the kids, live music! fun! So, here are the cousins and my kids in their costumes! Hope you're having a fun and safe weekend! My little Audrey's 2nd birthday is tomorrow! So, I'll be celebrating that with the family!
and, if you're searching for cards or projects from me... stay tuned... I'm still finding time to make stuff! I'll share in a few days!, Charity

good news, bad news

well, first, yes... I am still scrapping but I have been working on something that I cannot share yet... and I have lovely family in town that I'm spending precious time with! love it!

So, we celebrated little Luke Bowman's birthday last night~ He dove into the cake and this picture was before it got realllly messy~! He's a sweet, adorable little man who is now ONE!!!

The sad news... the dog my parent's got when I was I think a senior in high-school or maybe even before that went to doggie heaven tonight. She was really sweet and we will miss little Dixie girl.

They're here!

First, a pretty typical day here at the Hassel home... little guy played for hours this morning with his Legos! We skipped church so we could go to the airport to see.....

Yep, the long awaited visit from my brother, Josh and his family! yay! (to learn more about him you can read their blog here. So, I was able to snap a few shots of all of us at the airport. They're pretty wiped out after flying over 30 hours with four children 7 and under!!!! The men were leaving from the airport to go to the jags game tonight and hope they had fun. So, you'll be seeing more of them on my blog for the next few weeks as I find the time. Got to see Luke, my new nephew, soon to turn one this week, for the first time! Cannot wait to hang out with them once they've rested! thanks for reading!~

I distressed this quite a bit, used some twine and acrylic paint I had at home. Other than that, it's all from the kit!
