Butterflies and Monster Trucks!

Yesterday was a fun day as a family- We got up late. Made eggs, bacon, sausage links, chocolate chip pancakes and orange juice for breakfast. Watched KungFu Panda on dvd (we had never seen it). Then, off to our local zoo for a great new butterfly exhibit. Several landed on the kids and I. Here are some pictures I took.





Next, lunch, then downtown to the Monster Jam pit party! It looked like it was going to rain so I didn't take the camera into the actual Monster Jam- wish I had because it never did rain. We had a great time together~ tfl!

Purple frog

Made this a while back for the Cricut Circle blog! We did a whole week of fun crafts, projects, etc. that children could create along with you using the Cricut. I love those little pre-made crafting kits at the craft stores. They have bracelet, jewelry, sewing kits that look so fun! So, I decided to use my Cricut to cut some felt and put together a cute frog that kids could help stitch together into a stuffed animal!
