Fancy Pants Love Birds projects.

Hey everyone! Wow, it seems like it wasn't even a week after Christmas when I started seeing Valentine's Day things popping up in stores! I don't mind- they're so cute to look at!

Speaking of cute- have you seen the Love Birds line from Fancy Pants? Well, here are a few projects I've made with it. Be sure to check out the Fancy Pants blog for more inspiration!

First, a two-page layout about my girl's 4th Birthday party, I blogged about the party here. Click on the image for a closer look.

Swirly hearts love card.

Love bike card.
I used a journaling pen to outline the letters and also used glitter on the letters to accentuate them on this card.

Hope you have a great day! btw- I just got a box with the new Fancy Pants CHA winter 2011 releases- you're going to love them. I'm diving in and creating- can't wait to share!

Christmas 2010

It's been a wonderful Christmastime at our house. It's amazing how much fun was crammed into two weeks. Summarizing: Cookie making with cousins,

a trip to see the lights at the historic downtown St. Augustine (photo not mine):

We spent the night roaming around the little shops, ate real New York style pizza, sweet treats from one of the fun handmade candy shops there and yummy coffee from a little coffee shop!

Then, it was Christmas Eve service at church, Christmas morning at our house, then off to Meme's house for a big Christmas breakfast with my parents, my brother and his family! We spent the whole day there playing games, cooking, read the Christmas story, Birthday cake for Jesus, opened presents and ended with a big dinner!

The matching shirts and skirts the girls have on were made by Amy (my sister in law) and I! I used my cricut expression to cut out the little trees!

The next day we traveled down to visit Brian's family! Lots of time with so many relatives there! We shopped, had a cousins slumber party, went to Downtown Disney on the way home- rode the merry go round there, shopped at the Lego store and ate lunch at T-Rex!

So, we're back home, getting back to work, school an life again- thankful for a Merry Christmas! Hope yours was wonderful too!

winter treat containers

Getting closer to Christmas! Here are two treat containers I made using the Element Stickers from Fancy Pants' Hot Chocolate collection:

I used the large, scalloped stickers as a wrap around my treat containers. I also cut the end off one sticker, making it look like a tag. Place the sticker tags onto paper, then cut around them if you want to use them as a 3-D tag on a project. I cut around the large tree on the tree sticker to use it on the top of one treat container. Here's a look at the element stickers from Fancy Pants...

Hope you're enjoying Christmas-time! This last week we had Alexander's church Christmas musical, his school Winter musical and his school class Holiday party- here are the cupcakes I made for his class party and a really grainy photo of him singing in his school musical (after it was over the kids and I looked at great Christmas lights for almost an hour! so fun!).

Merry Chrismas!, Charity

New Cricut Cartridges!

Hi everyone! Yesterday Provocraft revealed 9 new cartridges coming out! They are all so very cute! As part of the Cricut Circle design team, I was happy to get to work with one of the new carts coming out- April showers! Here are my designs using this cartridge. Now, normally, I am not allowed to share what is made for the very fun blog that is exclusive to the Cricut Circle members, but I do get to share a few snips of my projects and we do get to share things made with new cart releases! If you're not a member of the Cricut Circle you can join here!

Here are the projects with the new April Showers cart:

I made this little matching card game.. I made 24 cards, 12 matching cards and put it in this Maya Road tin. I used October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker line for this.

Here are some small peeks of the projects I've recently made for the Cricut Circle blog:
